يُضِلُّوكَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ
إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ (116) - إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ مَن
يَضِلُّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ ﴾
Most People are Misguided |

Allah states that most of the people of the earth, are misguided. Allah said in other Ayat,
﴿وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ
قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ الاٌّوَّلِينَ ﴾
(And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them.) ﴿37:71﴾ and,
﴿وَمَآ أَكْثَرُ
النَّاسِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتَ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴾
(And most of mankind will not believe even if you eagerly desire it.)﴿12:103﴾
They are misguided, yet they have doubts about their way, and they rely on
wishful thinking and delusions.
﴿إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ
إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلاَّ يَخْرُصُونَ﴾
(They follow nothing but conjecture, and they do nothing but lie.) Thus, they
fulfill Allah's decree and decision concerning them,
﴿هُوَ أَعْلَمُ مَن
يَضِلُّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ﴾
(It is He Who knows best who strays from His way.) and facilitates that for
him,
﴿وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ
بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ﴾
(And He knows best the rightly guided.) He facilitates that for them, all of
them are facilitated |

Every Muslim should beware of seduction by the majority who say, "People follow such and such and they used to do such and such, so I will do like them." This is really a great disaster which has brought about the perdition of many past generations. O wise person, be mindful, reproach yourself, and cling to Al-Haqq (the Truth) even if people abandon it. Beware of every act prohibited by Allah, even if people do it. The truth should always be followed. Allah, the Exalted, says,
And if you obey most of those on the earth, they will mislead you far away from Allâh’s Path.
Allah (Exalted be He) says: And most of mankind will not believe even if you desire it eagerly. Some Salaf (righteous predecessors) (may Allah be Merciful to them) said, "Leave not the truth when only few people follow it and never be seduced by falsehood even if so many people fall in its abyss."| (Part No. 2; Page No. 149) |
And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), as it was to those (Allâh’s Messengers) before you: "If you join others in worship with Allâh, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers."Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to mankind): "If you (really) love Allâh then follow me (i.e. accept Islâmic Monotheism, follow the Qur’ân and the Sunnah), Allâh will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah (Glorified be He) says: And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 
"Whoever introduces something into this affair of ours that is not of it, it is to be rejected."
Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim. He (peace be upon him) also said, "Whoever performs an act which is not based on our Shari`ah, it is to be rejected." Reported by Muslim in his Sahih. Whoever abandons the Qur'an and the Sunnah is following his desires and disobeying his Lord, do he deserves punishment. Allah, the Exalted, states, But if they answer you not (i.e. do not bring the Book nor believe in your doctrine of Islâmic Monotheism), then know that they only follow their own lusts. And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allâh?| (Part No. 2; Page No. 150) |
They follow but a guess and that which they themselves desire, whereas there has surely come to them the Guidance from their Lord! Following personal desires, Allah forbid, dims the light of the heart and hinders people from the truth. Allah, the Exalted, says, "And follow not your desire for it will mislead you from the Path of Allâh." You must beware of following your desires, may Allah have mercy on you! Beware of neglecting the guidance. كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ (160) إِذْ
قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ (161) إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ
أَمِينٌ (162) فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ (163) وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ
مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (164) أَتَأْتُونَ
الذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ (165) وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ
مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ (166) قَالُوا لَئِنْ لَمْ
تَنْتَهِ يَا لُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُخْرَجِينَ (167) قَالَ إِنِّي
لِعَمَلِكُمْ مِنَ الْقَالِينَ (168) رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ
(169) فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ (170) إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي
الْغَابِرِينَ (171) ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآَخَرِينَ (172) وَأَمْطَرْنَا
عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا فَسَاءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ (173) إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ
لَآَيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ (174)
) وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ
لِقَوْمِهِ أَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُبْصِرُونَ (54) أَئِنَّكُمْ
لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِنْ دُونِ النِّسَاءِ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ
تَجْهَلُونَ (55) فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوا
آَلَ لُوطٍ مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ (56)
فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَاهَا مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ
(57) وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا فَسَاءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ (58) قُلِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَى آَللَّهُ خَيْرٌ
أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ (59) سورة النمل
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّكُمْ
لَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ
(28) أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ السَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ
فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنْكَرَ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا
ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ (29) قَالَ رَبِّ
انْصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ (30) وَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا
إِبْرَاهِيمَ بِالْبُشْرَى قَالُوا إِنَّا مُهْلِكُو أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ
إِنَّ أَهْلَهَا كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ (31) قَالَ إِنَّ فِيهَا لُوطًا قَالُوا
نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ فِيهَا لَنُنَجِّيَنَّهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ
كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ (32) وَلَمَّا أَنْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُنَا لُوطًا سِيءَ
بِهِمْ وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ ذَرْعًا وَقَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّا
مُنَجُّوكَ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَكَ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ (33) إِنَّا
مُنْزِلُونَ عَلَى أَهْلِ هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَا كَانُوا
يَفْسُقُونَ (34) وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَا مِنْهَا آَيَةً بَيِّنَةً لِقَوْمٍ
يَعْقِلُونَ (35)
وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ أَتَأْتُونَ
الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُمْ بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ (80) إِنَّكُمْ
لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِنْ دُونِ النِّسَاءِ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ
مُسْرِفُونَ (81) وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوهُمْ
مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ (82) فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ
وَأَهْلَهُ إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ (83) وَأَمْطَرْنَا
عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ (84)
وَلُوطًا آَتَيْنَاهُ حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا
وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَعْمَلُ الْخَبَائِثَ إِنَّهُمْ
كَانُوا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاسِقِينَ (74) وَأَدْخَلْنَاهُ فِي رَحْمَتِنَا إِنَّهُ
مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ (75)

What should be also known is that the preference is being made for a gender to another, but this does not necessarily entail that all men are better than women, on the contrary, some women may be better than men in many aspects as proven by text and in reality at all times. For example `Aishah, Khadijah and Hafsah, in addition to the other Mothers of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with all of them) are much better than many men. This has been the case throughout ages where many women might have surpassed men at work, in mind, and religion, but this does not entail the equality between them in everything. This does not entail calling for equality between them in inheritance and other rulings. According to the previously mentioned evidence regarding the story of Musa's (Moses) stick and the People of the Cave, all Mukallafs (people meeting the conditions to be held legally accountable for their actions) are obliged to believe in what is revealed, submit to and work in accordance with it. It is impermissible to refute it totally or partially or disavow any of it, for Allah's Words are truer than those of His creatures. Allah is the Most knowledgeable of His servants' conditions and what can set them right. He has ordained His Servants to follow what is revealed and has not given them the choice to reject any of it. Besides, His Messenger (peace be upon him) is the truest of His servants and the one who was granted the utmost wisdom and piety.

👈لا تزهد في الحق لقلة السالكين ولاتغتر بالباطل لكثرة الهالكين!!!
✍ قَالَ الإمام العلاَّمة : عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله إبن باز رحمـهُ اللهُ تعالـى :
”نصيحة موجهة إلى كافة المسلمين :
وليحذر كل مسلم أن يغتر بالأكثرين ، ويقول : إن الناس قد ساروا إلى كذا ، واعتادوا كذا ، فأنا معهم ، فإن هذه مصيبة عظمى ، قد هلك بها أكثر الماضين ، ولكن أيها العاقل ، عليك بالنظر لنفسك ومحاسبتها والتمسك بالحق وإن تركه الناس ، والحذر مما نهى الله عنه وإن فعله الناس ، فالحق أحق بالاتباع ، كما قال تعالى : ﴿ وَإِنْ تُطِعْ أَكْثَرَ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يُضِلُّوكَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّه ِ﴾ .
وقال تعالى : ﴿ وَمَا أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتَ بِمُؤْمِنِين َ﴾ .
وقال بعض السلف رحمهم الله : ❪لاتزهد في الحق لقلة السالكين ولا تغتر بالباطل لكثرة الهالكين“.

✍ وقَالَ الإمام محدّث العصر محمد ناصر الدين الألباني رحمـهُ اللهُ تعالـى :
”فالمؤمن لايستوحش من قلّة السالكين على طريق الهدى ولا يضره كثرة المخالفين“.

✍ وقال الشيخ العلاَّمة : صالح بن فوزان الفوزان حفظـهُ اللهُ تعالـى :
”فالعبرة ليست بالكثرة ، العبرة بالصواب وإصابة الحق . نعم ، إذا كانت الكثرة على صواب فهذا طيب ، ولكن سنة الله جل وعلا أن الكثرة تكون على الباطل ﴿ ومآ أكثر الناس ولو حرصت بمؤمنين﴾ .
﴿ وأن تطع أكثر من في الارض يضلوك عن سبيل الله ﴾ “.

✍ وقال العلاَّمة الشيخ : ربيع بن هادي المدخلــي حفظـهُ اللهُ تعالـى :
”لو أن الناس كلهم اجتمعوا على الباطل وانت على الحق ، فأنت على الحق وأنت الجماعة ، فلا يغرنكم كثرة الزبد فإنما هم غثاء كغثاء السيل كما قال رسول الله ﷺ ، أهل البدع والله غثاء ، غثاء ! أهل الباطل والله غثاء ، والناس هم أهل الحق ولو كانوا قلة ، ولو كانوا في غاية الغربة“.
