Ruling on reciting (Qur'an) over the water - ربيع السنة

As to reciting Qur’an over Zamzam Water, there are no authentic reports that tell us that the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited Qur’an over it and then gave it to any of his Sahabah to drink or rub therewith for fulfilling a wish or for treatment and recovery. The Prophet (peace be upon him) had great blessings and a noble rank and was keen to bring good to his followers. Moreover, he (peace be upon him) went to Zamzam Well many times before Hijrah (the Prophet’s migration to Madinah) and during his ‘Umrahs (lesser pilgrimages) and Hajj to the Sacred House after Hijrah, but it has not been authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) advised any of his Sahabah to recite over Zamzam Water. Had reciting over Zamzam Water been permissible, it would have been obligatory upon him to do that, tell Muslims about it and explain it to them as there was no good but he showed it to the Muslims nor evil but he warned them against it. However, there is no objection to reciting over Zamzam seeking cure just as there is no objection to reciting over any other water. Rather, Zamzam Water should be given priority over normal water as it is a source of blessings and healing according to the cited Hadiths.

📝 ما حكم الرقية الشرعية بالجماعة باستعمال الميكرفون؟


▪️سئل الشَّـيخ العلّامــة عَبْدُ الله بنُ عَبْدُ الرّحيمِ البُخَارِي -حـَفِظَهُ الله-:

❪📜❫ السُّــــ☟ـــؤَالُ:
• مَا حُكْم الرُّقْيَةِ الشَّرْعِيّةِ بِالْجَمَاعَةِ بِاسْتِعْمَالِ الْمِيكْرِفُون؟

❪📜❫ الجَـــ☟ـــوَابُ:
” هَذَا مِنَ الْبِدَعِ وَالْحَوَادِثِ، اسْتَرْسَلُوا فِي الْمـُخَالَفَاتِ, فَصَارَ يَقْرَأُ بِالْمـَيكْرِفُون، وَبَعْضُهُمْ صَارَ يَرْقِي عَبْرَ الْفَضَائِيَّاتِ وَالْقَنَوَاتِ، وَيُسَمِّيَ قَنَاتُهُ بَعْضَهُمْ يَقُولُ عَنْهَا "الْحَقِيقَةِ" وَهِيَ الْكَذِب، هَذَا الدَّجَالُ وَغَيْرُهُ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِينَ، يُدْجِلُونَ عَلَى النَّاسِ، ثُمَّ يَقْرَؤُونَ عَلَى الْمـَاءَ،

○ قُلْنَا: الْقِرَاءَةُ عَلَى الْمـَاءِ فِيهِ مَا فِيهِ - الْحَدِيثُ الْمـَعْلُول- لَا يَكْتَفُونَ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ عَلَى الْمـَرِيضِ بِمَائِهِ، صَارُوا يَقْرَؤُون عَلَى خَزَّانَات الْمـِيَاه كَمَان، فَهِمْتَ –بَارَكَ الَّلُه فِيكَ- هَذَا كُلُّهُ مَوْجُودٌ وُكُلُّهُ مُخَالِفٌ لِلشَّرْعِ، وَهَذَا مِنْ إِحْدَاثِ النَّاسِ- نَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ السَّلَامَةَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ-، مَنْ اسْتَرْسَلَ مَعَ الشَّيْطَان-وَالْعِيَاذُ بِالَّلِه- أَوْرَدَهُ الْمـَوَارِدِ “.

The Ruling of Reciting the Qur’an on Water for Ruqyah
Ash-Shaikh Rabee’ bin Haadee Al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah) was asked: What is the ruling on reciting the Qur’aan on water?
He (hafidhahullaah) replied:
This is not appropriate, even though some of the scholars hold that it is ok. There is no evidence to support it. The Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) did not do this and neither did the Companions. May Allaah bless you all. And as for those scholars who permit writing (i.e. writing verses of the Qur’an for Ruqyah), and bathing and washing (with water that have verses of Qur’an blown or recited in it) and the likes of these things, then they do not have any proofs and evidences to support such things. And they (the same scholars who permitted this) are the ones who taught us that we should not accept any matter except with the proofs and evidences. So every person may have his statement accepted or rejected except the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

من من العلماء يرى عدم جواز الرقية في الماء:
1-محدث العصر محمد ناصر الدين الألباني:
ما حكم الرقية بالقراءة لآيات وأدعية مأثورة في الماء ؟

"ما له أصل (!!) هذا كالكتابة على الورقة ثم شعلها كما ذكرت آنفا ..

كل هذا ليس له أصل !
