Hijra to places of fitan is NOT permissible

This is the reason why our girls should not go to Syria

Question:

"Brother Sa'id from Germany asks regarding the girls going from here, Germany, to Syria - oh Shaykh - without a Mahram[1] and without the consent of their parents, under the pretense that the Hijrah[2] from the countries of Kufr does not require a Mahram."

Answer:

"This is from the greatest of evils and severest of sins. That the woman exposes herself to the dangers of violating the Islamic Law. It is not permissible for her to do this kind of action. It is well know that the situation in Syria is not stable. There is no state which has extended it's authority fully in the land and under which the affairs have become settled. Subsequently it is not permissible for anyone to go there. Likewise there is no clear distinguished banner so that a person could say "I'm from its people". So therefore it is not permissible for them to go there with or without a Mahram. And thus we warn them from going to these places. It is not permissible for them according to the Islamic Law and they become sinful by doing so."
